Grüß Gott!
Thank you for your comment! As a point of interest; I purposely “framed" this photo upside down. Look for the ripples in the water...

ˇHola Anne!

Muchísimas gracias, he estado viendo tus obras de las cuales no puedo escoger my favorita. Me gustan casi todas. Te presento una de mis favoritas que tomé en Santiago de Compostela.

Yo vivo en Portland, Oregon y la foto que te gusto fue en la costa, sur de Cannon Beach, Oregon.

Saludos,

Carlos

Hey, I am sorry about my harsh comments. I apologize, it was done in a moment when I felt insulted. However, that's no excuse.

I was being vindictive when I didn't spell your name correctly. I did that on purpose only to offend you. I knew it would work...sorry.

As far as your photography is concerned, of course, they're not all bad...all I would ask is that when you make a comment about the work of others keep what I have often heard in mind:
"If you can't say anything nice, shut-up!"

Most people are not really interested in your opinion, unless, it's positive and flattering. I must be honest, I am one of those people.

Actually, I understand why you think the lighting is bad on those pictures...however, the pictures are more about the compositional structure of the photo.

It's about the contrast of light and dark, never mind the obvious subject, look beyond that and appreciate the shapes the shadows on a one dimensional level... or the shape a group of trees create or the negative space cast by their shadows...

You have potential...explore it and don't limit your talents on trite matters such as the girl on the sand or the model on the runway. Those pictures are a ten cents a dozen. Nothing different there... a three year old sitting could have taken that picture from that seat.

Your comments, although rude and erroneous;are appreciated. It tells me that I must work on making my statement stronger because to some,it just looked like "horrrible" lighting problem.

So, yeah I'll work on that...so that even people with a limited scope of photography may recognize my intention.

Good luck to you, Mirek.

Ciao Enzo!

Excellent capture! It reminds me of a Van Gogh painting. I was in Italy last year and fell in love with the countryside near Firenze.

I love your picture, I hope you don't mind that I have taken the liberty to crop some of the information which I, just another opinion, think is superfluous to the subject. I think that by leaving out some of the outter parts of the picture it strengthens your otherwise flawless composition.

The information to the left of the photo and a little at the top to balance the composition. What do you think?

You know, sometimes you have to sacrifice a part of the photo for the overall good of it. To me it's like cutting off a finger sometimes...because I liked that part of the photo but in the end I realize that it becomes a stronger composition without that detail.

Again, I really like your picture. Inspiring!

Thank you for your comment. As long as we're passing out comments...I would certainly have a closer look at most of your pictures before passing out judgement on other photos, Mureek.

A photograph, in order to be interesting, can take many forms. These can have any variety of lighting balance and contrast. I suggest you study a little more before you pass judgment on other people's work. Look beyond the picture perfect Kodak moment. Verstehen Sie?

I will try not waste too much my time on your so-called artistict abilities as a photographer...because you have none. You would be better served by deleting your pictures all together...they are indeed, HORRIBLE.

Maybe you can trade your camera for another helmet, although you seem to not need one, as thick-skulled as you seem to be.

However, as long as we are criticizing each other, do yourself a favor and learn english, properly. Start by correcting your biographical description on this website.

Also, in the future, in regards to my photos, I would appreciate it if you kindly kept your delightfully, delicate comments to yourself. After looking at all your pictures, you certainly have no authority to make any comments regarding anyone's photos.

Good luck to you.

I love Checkers even if he looks like a bat, too cute! My b&w duo are named Sylvie the dog and Plácido the cat. Actually, Plácido only moved-in about four months ago...so, they get along real good.

Thanks for your input...ahh, but I do have two other shots with her face more clearly shown...but I like to tease and leave that your imagination... my intention.

This shot was taken from a distance, telephoto mode on my new Fuji S7000, which I barely know how to use to its full capacities...as you guessed, this is a random person sitting on a bench, however, such beauty is not random at all, regardless of whether you see her face or not...in any case, her hair and posture are fabulous, you must admit. Five seconds later, she noticed me and got up then left...so time was most definetely of the essence.

By the way, her face was worthy of the number one wife in any Harem...

So, you have been to Firenze...here's one at the steps of The Dome...obviously, not posed; a moment purloined...I have some other shots I'd like to share if it interests you...Ciao!

Greetings! I like your picture! What are those little white spots?

I am thinking of taking a Holiday to Istambul in the fall. I plan to take my elderly mother along, actually she's the one with the desire to go to Istambul and she has convinced me.

If you have any suggestions I would very much appreciate them, thank you!

Words may not describe the connection this woman has with the camera. She is beautiful, however, that's not the point. Forget the other girls, mere commercial, shallow portraits of self-absorbed women. Not this one. You could, should, dedicate more time on this marvelous creature. Matisse would have painted her...may I???

I love your picture!!! The colors are fantastic. However, I found that by cropping the left side further it brought into focus the action depicted by your photo; the drink...while still maintaining perspective.

Great job!!!

Me gusta tu foto.
