thank you linda for taking the time to comment, most of my photo are taken in ambient light against a black background which I like and apart from a aesthetic crop very little else needs done

no photoshop Lars, I use Picasa (free download) the image is virtually untouched with the exception of a little soft focus and some cropping. thanks for your comments

Hi Lydia thank you for your kind comments the black background is a sheet of plywood painted with blackboard matt black. All my photographs are taken with natural daylight through a window. If you are thnking about trying this don't forget to angle the board's trailing edge away slightly so the light doesn't fall on the board only the flowers this should give you a perfect black. gorgeous children Luke, how proud you must be of them. excellent image again although your daughter seem rather self concious and has forced her smile. Very difficult to photograph your own family, my wife complains that I dont photograph my grandchildren often enough.
