Thank you so much for your constructive crtitcism- I love the b&w but from the feedback I have gotten here on usefilm, it looked as if people enjoyed color better. I have been wanting to try some different aspects (other than headshots) and I think youv'e just given me the push to do that!
by the way, I do like the baldness! I would totally wear my hair (or lack of) like this regularly if it wasn't for the stares from people- so rude!
Thanks again,
Sarah

great lines and curves, I love the black and white with the vibrant red as well as the sheerness of the cloth- the dancers outline is still visable and the lighting on her face and torso is perfect!

Beautiful colors and composition! You took an everyday sight and turned it into something original and stunning. It reminds me a lot of Monets paintings!

I'm sorry for the way that you have chosen to interpret these photos. I hoped that everyone would see that I have chosen to deal with this in a healthy healing way by expressing myself through my art and if you really knew me you would know that I am not "hiding behind a death mask" but staying happy and positive throughout this whole journey which is a very difficult thing for many to do. I had hoped that others would see "the smile behind my eyes" and wouldn't need a smile to know that I was happy. Obvisually I was worng and need to spell it out for you.

You have such beautiful black and whites! I love the lighting and esp. the models right eye- how it is hidden with shadow except for a few of her eyelashes and a part of her eye- very mysterious! good work!

Very nice idea- love the makeup, hair and clothes- her right leg looks so long! but left leg looks akward, maybe if it was positioned differently, with the toe facing the viewer a step down or so? nice work!

You are right, it is a bit hot- I used the light meter within my camera- film-which is probably why it isnt as sharp as it could be. Thank you for your critique!

Use the blurryness to your advantage, you could do some great things with it in photoshop. It really is a wonderful photo!

I like the colors and motion in this. Maybe a less distracting background however, minus the scale ;-D
Well done,

Your photography evokes a strong emotional response. Most people do not get to see this aspect of war, thank you for sharing.

Beautiful colors and texture! I like the contrast of the fuzzy moss with the smooth waxy lilly pads. I agree that a hint of red/ red-orange would make the green pop even more!

This caught my eye because of its vibrant colors! I like the hint of sky, but dont care much for the fence in the background. The cow on the left has a lot of personality- I would like to see the one on the left was either more in focus or out of focus she is kind of distracting. Very nice!

Paul,
Thank you so much for your advice- it's so much more helpful when constructive criticism is given rather than one word sentences!I now see what you mean with the highlights on her face- I never noticed that they do take away from the photo as a whole. Right now I am working with the studio lighting that we have at the school- 2 umbrella lights, a hair light and a backlight- I will experiment with your suggestions, I have a photo shoot coming up!
Again thank you so much for your feedback!
