WOW! I need a closer look at that Sigma lens you have, they must have a Canon version... ;-)

Stunning colour, perfect composition - amazing overall result. Congrats! from a macro fan.... ;-))

It's been a while... And I see an amazing development of your talent and techique, John.

Great dynamics and lovely backlight in this one!

I'd perhaps crop it at the top a bit to give it more lightness, which is the feature that stands out most - but not sure. Perhaps my computer monitor is too small to fully appreciate it ;-))

Happy New Year, btw!

A beautiful night shot, John! The type I like :)
Really a shame they covered the beautiful wave-like glass roofing in the middle with those office towers..

Looking at it, I feel again like going out there and capturing the night... but instead, I'm still spending hours on dpreview, trying to pick my ideal DSLR... ;)
Anyway, the search will be over next week - has to be - will inform you on the results - probably some will appear here... (finally!)

Beautiful colours, the softening filter makes it fairy-tale like...

Great shot - at first glance I thought it was the Notre Dame de Paris ;)

Well depicted detail, and a nice angle of the photo.

This is fantastic... Amazing detail, and perspective, obviously..

We should finally get together for this photo session! I'm not sure though I coult beat you on this one... ;)

True, you did :) I must have been away from here for a while, I guess ;)

I could not really move my position, as I was sitting on the beach, and trying to be as discreet as possible - she was talking to those people, not sure they would have been happy to see me taking the picture!

And I see the horizon is leaning to the left as well - hope the see doesn't flow out! lol

Amazing. A very unusual 'bubble' shape, dramatically different from the ones I've seen so far. How did you do it? Shoot it into the vase at the light speed? )

I like the composition and the colours, but would probably choose a different DOF.

OK... here I see the choices... lolo

Nice one as well, I like the rythm here, just the light strips on the right are distracting a bit my attention...

I like the dark feel about your photo, and the light focused just in the centre. I agree with Mary Sue though, not much choices here Or rather the choice has been made, and now comes to the light...

Great perspective, the stones seem to reflect the clouds in the sky...
Just wish there were no traces of human presence (cars & buldings on the right), but this IS our reality, isn't it?

BEautifully dramatic sky, wonderful feeling of limitless space... Beautiful white wave 'edges', and the couple make the picture alive, and in spite of the coming storm - joyful.
Excellent.

WOW !! quite misleading, actually, in the view of your recent works... )

Fantastic, when you put the two together!

Perfect as an individual as well...

Now that you do florals (when you don't), I think I should quit even this little corner..
