Wow! What an amazing image! It has a very strong "painterly" feel. Good work.

Thank you so much. I both cook and photograph; what better combination! I had never tasted or cooked with Chinese red dates before; not only did the result look pleasing but it also tasted good!

Maybe a tad sharper focus and a small levels adjustment needed; but, still, a charming portrait.

Interesting, strong image; great use of slow speed to empasize the rain.

Very good; could easily fit as a book cover. It is brooding and a bit mysterious.

I know others have already said it, but I just have add my "it's really a cool image!".

Yes, you are quite right Angelo - the sky was 'filled in' with PS. In the original it was too bright and only served to distract from the form of the building that I wanted to emphasize.

This image is funny and serious at the same time. The intense look of the cows, completely unaware of their silly hair cuts is quite a contrast. Makes you wonder if they realize the whole deal of staying pregnant their whole lives or being hot dogs!

I have to say that I really misjudged in posting this little series. My wife brought out a very funny 'plating' of toast one morning. I decided that it deserved a snapshot 'record'. Then, in following weeks she brought out increasingly funnier versions, culminating in this New Year's version. My snapshots were just that, snapshots. I posted them here in the "Humour" category thinking that it would provide some amusement. I think that in future I will stick to more carefully done images!

I think the formal geometry here works really well. A superb compositon.

Simply a wonderful image. The brooding sky, the off centre ruin, and the intense yellow of the mustard are beautifully assembled.

This is a superb portrait. It is technically spot on and has all the elements needed to lift it out of the ordinary. There is an immediate mystery about the subject; she seems set for everything from gardening to flying a biplane. Her strong, intense expression is really well captured in your dark tones. A killer image!

The overall monotone with the one cool colour accent is great! Your title starts Joni Mitchell singing in my mind right away. Good work.

The girl on the left seems to be a millon miles away from her more 'wealthy' friends, who have shoes, jewellry, etc. Great job in posing them against the wall. Perhaps a small recuction in contrast could have been achieved; still, a killer image.
