Thanks for you comment, its a half dome because the other half of the dome broke off sometime long ago... the whole valley was carved by glaciers. Also, the name of the mountain is 'half dome.'

Im certain we were propping our cameras on the same display case! Its such a nice place to visit...

I really liked the calamari from this small shop on the pier, i don't remember the name of it however...

its a fun shot... i know you must have this truck in 20 different positions and chose the best one to display... I think the only drawback to digital is all the good shots that aren't shown...

Thanks for the comment Brigitte, I didn't see the Stone Mother, but I plan on visiting there again soon... Im now living in Reno and its only a short drive away...

I heard there is a geyser somwhere on the lake as well, which I hope to find...
