Thanks robert,

I preferred this one too. But i liked the sun in the other version so decided to stick that up to see which got a better response. Didnt manage to catch the water as well when the sun was in teh perfect spot. Nervous trigger finger i guess.

definately cool. prefer this to the black and white one. The colours seem too vibrant to leave out.

Hussam,
I had wondered if I over enhanced the pink tone of the sand in my other pictures. Your comments on the two subtler pictures have taken a step to confirming that suspicion.

Thankyou.

Actually, that picture was taken while he was on his walk through the jungle. He gets to walk 10k every day. The reserve only has so much money and so much land. If you feel that badly maybe you could make a donation. ;-)

It would probably look less impressive witha scaling factor. It's only about three feet across.

Yeah it was, we arived late at night and i think 6 of the group of us actually stayed on the reserve. We got there and the jaguar was in this tiny little room where they'd ahd to keep hm until we got this enclosure up. se we were looking through the window at him, he was really cute too, kind of an adolecent but quite big already. And the people who ran the park just opened up the door and he came out to ahng with us for a bit, he was really friendly. like a big big dog. Didnt get any pictures of him though.

Th moquitoes did me a lot more damage then this guy ever would. Then again he'll be bigger now and i don't know if he's kept the same peoplen loving mentality.

The baby boa worried me more than anything. I woke up one morning and his cardboard box (at the foot of my bed) wsa open.

Yeah this picture was a pretty split second thing, just wanted a picture of him really. Came out better than i expected so i figured I'd put him on for shear cuteness.
