We call her and our little brown lab our second children since our kids are grown
we also have cats turtles and fish
and a family of mediertrian geckos out side our fromt door

I see you like the Herons too! I have some nest near my house and enjoyed the Blue Heron life cycle this spring. You were close to this one if you only had the 55mm lens. Maybe a little motion blur but nice to get that close.

I was lying on my back about 20 ft from where they were being lit
My cousins have a display company so I was able to get as close as I wanted
the sound made it all that much more fun

Wow! These are really strong fireworks shots. I think it's the smoke in them that gives them the power. I'm trying to figure out where you were with respect to the launch point to get that smoke. Really nice work, indeed.
